TREASURE ISLAND BEADED BRACELET - By Lisa Jordan

Hey Beaders!

I just realized that I hadn't made a blog post about one of my most popular designs, Treasure Island Bracelet!

This design is fairly simple using beads you already have in your stash, but can be made to look so different depending on what colors you use.

CzechMates Tiles are so great for using as a base bead to create all sorts of designs, but they are also great as a focal piece in the design! They are one of my favorite beads!

You can find this pattern HERE.

These are the versions I made for the tutorial:

And here are some versions that were sent to me by others:

Have you tried this pattern? I'd love to see your version!

Happy Beading!

NORTH STAR BEADED BRACELET TUTORIAL - By Lisa Jordan

Hey Beaders!
I finished one of my favorite patterns yet!
This design was so fun to make and takes on many different looks depending on how you connect the components or what colors you use.
This design uses the CzechMates QuadraLentil for structure and Crescents for texture.

I'd love to hear your feedback on this one! You can purchase the tutorial on my Etsy shop HERE.

Happy beading!

GRAND GARLAND TUTORIAL - By Lisa Jordan

Hello Beaders!

I just finished my tutorial I call Grand Garland. This is a cute wreath inspired pattern with all sorts of tips to adjust it and make different variations with different beads.

I hope you give it a shot and let me know how it goes. They are SO FUN to make! These make a great single component, a bracelet or even necklace. Depending on the colors you choose, it doesn't even have to look like something holiday related. It's totally up to you!

You can find the pattern on my Etsy shop HERE.

Enjoy!!

BABY BLUE EYES VIDEO TUTORIAL - Beaded Component By Lisa Jordan

Hello Beaders!

I have been working on my video tutorial skills and came up with something new for you. For this video I used only my iPad and iMovie. It's not all that easy to bead when you have an iPad hanging over your beadwork. :)

I decided to try and come up with a fairly easy component that I could teach on this video. I had some mini daggers left over from making my Dagger Duo design, and I LOVE Mini Dagger beads because of the great textures you can achieve with them. I started with the new CzechMates QuadraTile and CzechMates Tile as the base and then just started adding on Mini Daggers to create this flowery component that I call Baby Blue Eyes.

This piece ended up being even better than I thought it would. The photos don't do it justice. It's super puffy with great texture, thanks to the QuadraTile! Linked together as a bracelet it's reminiscent of a Hawaiian Lei. I absolutely love this piece and I hope you love it too. I know that it would look fantastic in all different colors as well.

If you try this I'd love to see your version and hear your comments. Please feel free to share this video with all your friends! Make sure to give me credit on my design when you do! Thanks!

Enjoy!
Happy Beading!

HOT CROSS BARS COMPONENT - Pattern By Lisa Jordan

Hey Beaders!

I have a new pattern available now in my Etsy shop! I call it Hot Cross Bars

This is a sweet little component that works well as a bracelet, earrings, or even a necklace. It features the CzechMates QuadraLentil (4-hole) from Starman as well as the CzechMates Bar (2-hole). I absolutely love the texture you can get using the QL. The bar is the perfect little connector and can be used in so many ways in different designs.
This pattern helps you learn how to use the 4 holes of the QuadraLentil in a pretty easy way. It is a 9 page, full color PDF that takes you through step by step instructions with very detailed color photos.

I hope you enjoy making it as much as I did, and I would love to hear your feedback or see your color choices!

Happy Beading!
